Ads Attack Obama on Coal — Koch Connections Everywhere You Look

Secretive nonprofits affiliated with oil and coal companies, including Koch Industries, are hitting Obama hard for what they call his “war on coal.”

The article describes the links to Koch Industries among these so-called "nonprofits," which are so organized in order to maintain secrecy about who is behind them.

These are people who say global warming is alarmism, that renewable energy is fraudulent, and that improving fuel efficiency standards is "draconian," as opposed to something that is overdue and would benefit the pocketbooks of all regular Americans. (I'm thinking of learning to drive stick and buying my sister's hybrid car because it gets 50 mpg.) Their real motivation, of course, is their own personal profit, and the good of the world, the country, and most Americans be damned.
