Anti-Fracking Rally Planned for Columbus Sunday

From our friends over at EcoWatch:

Unsurprisingly, they tell us, "On June 11, Gov. John Kasich signed SB 315 into law, turning one of the worst fracking bills in America into the worst fracking laws."

It's a given that if Kasich can make any situation worse, he probably will — especially if there is benefit involved for his cronies and donors.

So Sunday from 11 a.m., environmental activists will gather a tArch Park in downtown Columbus to march to the Staehouse for what they are calling "the largest mobilization against fracking in Ohio’s history." (Not that the history of such demonstrations is particularly long, but whatever). They are hoping to attract people from surrounding states as well. The rally, which will last until about 2:30, will feature speakers such as Bill McKibben and Josh Fox.

Or just show up and show your support for the activists fighting for sane energy policies that don't leave behind a pile of steaming environmental wreckage.
