Sources close to 2008 Congressional candidate Sharen Neuhardt tell OhioDaily that the would-be candidate has pulled petitions for Secretary of State and is nearing her goal in firm financial commitments. This is a significant development and OhioDaily will have updates shortly as we are following up on several angles to this developing story.

Anthony, for a long time I've questioned the ability we have as bloggers to impact the process on anything but a marginal basis. Neuhardt's entry into this race, whether the establishment recognizes it as such or not, is a game-changer.
