Clint Eastwood was a perfect closing speaker for the Republican convention

In case you missed it, Clint Eastwood, made a surprise guest appearance as one of the final speakers for the Republican convention. The speech he gave was a rambling, disconnected, detached from reality one that made you question his mental status. During his speech he talked to a chair that was supposed to be holding an imaginary President Obama. It’s not so much that he had an empty chair to represent President Obama that was weird, because that has been done before, what was weird was the lively conversation he was having with the chair that made you wonder in the privacy of his own home, does he hear voices?

He also made just bizarre accusations. He stated that he didn’t think lawyers should be President. He stated something along the lines that they are trained to argue too much. Does he not realize that, Mitt Romney, has a law degree?

He also made an odd comment about the war in Afghanistan. He made it sound like President Obama started the war and that he was ignorant for not understanding history and the problems the Russians faced in their war with Afghanistan.

Odd.

I honestly tried to watch Clint Eastwood’s speech objectively. I did my best to understand where he was coming from. But in the end all I could think was, he was perfect to represent what Republicans are: out of touch, rambling, disconnected from reality, willing to stand in front of millions of people and make completely hypocritical statements and not have any intelligence at all to understand what they've done. If anyone asks you “what’s a Republican” just play them the following video, nothing could define them better.
