There's a new diary up on Daily Kos that talks about how Sherrod Brown and President Obama have both maintained stable leads in Ohio, despite enormous sums of money being spent to attack them.

You figure in Obama's case people have reasons other than ads for supporting or not supporting him. Most people know where they stand.

In the case of Sherrod Brown and Josh "The Empty Suit" Mandel, it's interesting that despite wealthy corporate special interests spending more on this Ohio Senate race than any other in the country, they aren't making much headway for Mandel. You wonder at what point do they recognize that Mandel is a terrible, woefully underqualified candidate and stop throwing good money after bad. And at what point do the negative ads start backfiring?

I guess we'll find out.
