Mary J. Blige, Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Kevin Liles are headlining events to urge voters to turn out on Election Day for Barack Obama.
The Columbus event starts at 5:30 p.m. and is at Mayme Moore Park at Martin Luther King Jr. Performing and Cultural Arts Complex, 867 Mount Vernon Ave.
A ghetto mom: Obama supporter
I am not a hockey mom. I am a ghetto mom who has to work for the money. When I raised two daughters, I did not have time to take them to hockey games or other activities. I had to tell my daughters to quit the gymnastics, because my work schedule. Those who have a luxury of taking their children to many activities and chat and drink coffee/tea with their moms, like Palin did, should understand that they are privileged and there are people like ghetto moms who are struggling and cannot do that.
