His-and-Hers Delegates

I really enjoyed meeting Milton and Lee Hakel, two Ohio Delegates from Bowling Green. He is an educator and psychologist at Bowling Green State University.

They didn't hesitate to tell me that they are going to be voting differently tomorrow. Milton will vote for Barack Obama, and Lee will vote for Hillary Clinton. They are each quite firm in their preference, but if it wears on their relationship at all it doesn't show. They are sitting together, making light of their difference of opinion, and pledging to work for a united party behind the nominee.

And, when I looked back to where they were sitting, I saw that Lee was waving the hand-made Obama sign they brought with them.
