I just canceled my daily subscription to the Columbus Republican Dispatch

I canceled my daily subscription to the Dispatch due to its unfair and unbalanced reporting about the election. The Dispatch has served as the John McCain Love Machine by hyping the issue of voter registration fraud and underplaying the real threats of voting machine fraud and voter suppression. Then there was the unreasoned endorsement of Gramps McSame.
I encourage others to similarly call the Dispatch and drop their daily subscription. The telephone rep offered me a Saturday and Sunday deal that was too hard to refuse---one year of weekend delivery for $1 per week. The coupons will more than pay for that and I can go on the website for free the other days of the week.

I canceled my subscription to the Dispatch on 10/28 after the anti-Obama dvd dropped onto the floor when I pulled the paper from the plastic bag emblazoned with Steve Stivers name. I actually thought the bag was clever (looking forward to picking up after my dog with it), but the dvd was too much.

We canceled our subscription years ago, after yet another round of anti-teacher union venom was spewed by this Republican, right-wing rag. I just wish somebody had the resources to start another newspaper with balanced coverage and viewpoints. I once again mourn the passing of the Columbus Citizen-Journal. ;-)
