THE JUNIOR SENATOR FROM NEW YORK'S OUTRAGE ABOUT SENATOR OBAMA'S MAILING

I find it hard to imagine that in her 35 years of experience in the public arena, which she consistently rubs our noses in, although less than eight of those years have been as a marginally performing senator, she had no idea that during Governor Clinton's (that is the proper honorific for him) term in the White House that he was the one that signed NAFTA and allowed so many jobs to migrate south of the border.

Given that the junior senator from New York has been referred to many times as the smartest women on the planet this seems a bit odd.

How could you be in the White House for eight years, watch this treaty be negotiated and then signed, and now come out and say that you want to punish companies that send manufacturing jobs beyond our borders?

Now you can say that you weren't there in any official capacity and had no impact on any treaties or legislation that was enacted during Governor Clinton's term, but wouldn't that raise questions as to the veractiy of yuor statement regarding all your experience?

After all, I wouldn't want a surgeon's wife operating on me just because she sat in the observation room of the operating theater while her husband was performing operations. That doesn't really count as experience, although in the junior senator from New York's case that is what we are to believe.

Are we, the American people, that obtuse in your eyes that we can be swayed by this rhetoric?

I for one hope not.
