Mason Resignation : Scene, But Not Heard

For what seems like an eternity, the Cleveland weekly publication Scene has been giving ink to unnamed sources claiming that Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason was set to resign. Several weeks ago, the paper suggested that the Mason resignation would be coming in the first couple of weeks of October.

Well, here it is. The second Friday in October. And with resignations almost always coming on a Friday, so as to become lost in the weekend news cycle, we sit quietly and wait for an announcement that no one else is suggesting is even close.

Will there be news today out of the Cuyahoga County Justice Center? We shall wait and see (again).
