No More Nukes For Ohio or Ted Strickland

Nuclear power is expensive but Duke Energy wants to build a costly new plant here in Ohio. Meanwhile, energy efficiency investments are available at a fraction of the cost!

Tell Duke Energy what you think of their plan to build a multi-billion dollar nuclear plant in Ohio!

Duke Energy recently filed a forecast report with state regulators. In its report, the electric power giant outlines first steps in the construction of a massive new nuclear power plant. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, such a plant "would take more than a decade and more than $10 billion to build."

Meanwhile, job-creating clean energy efficiency investments remain cost-effective. The American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy estimates that the cost of efficiency will remain low over the foreseeable future, at a fraction of the cost of nuclear energy.

Don't give Duke Energy...a Big Supporter of Ted Strickland...a way to bring more dirty nuke power to Ohio.

Ted Strickland should also tell Duke Energy no...but he won't....because Ted Strickland takes to much money from Duke Energy PACS!!!!
