Nun Bus in Ohio Next Week
The "Nuns on the Bus" tour is a group of Roman Catholic nuns swinging through the midwest to basically stick it to the men in the Vatican and U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops who complained they focus too much on serving the poor and suffering and not enough on condemning gay marriage, abortion, and the ordination of women.
They've hit Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, and are on their way to Indiana. They'll hit Michigan over the weekend. (Maybe they can have a chat with state rep. Wayne Schmidt abour women remaining silent!) They're focusing on the destructive Paul Ryan budget which would wreck the economy from the bottom up, taking the most from those who have the least.
And next week they'll be here, with stops in Toledo, Cincinnati, Columbus, Youngstown and Cleveland.
