OH-5: They Make Web Sites

I just located campaign web sites for GOP candidates Mike Smitley (R-Van Wert) and Mark Hollenbaugh (R-Bowling Green), for those of you curious about their views and biographies.

I have previously noted web sites for State Sen. Steve Buehrer (R-Delta) and State Rep. Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green). Nothing yet for Fred Pieper (R-Paulding) or Michael Reynolds (R-Columbus Grove).

On the Democratic side, all three candidates have sites:

Robin Weirauch (D-Napoleon)
Dr. Earl Campbell (D-Perrysburg)
George Mays (D-Norwalk)

illegal web site

Anyone notice anything missing from Mr. Hollenbaugh's site?

"Those who cannot do, teach."

Absolutely

And I see that Dr. Campbell doesn't exactly have it right either.

On so many levels...

Please, don't get me wrong. I LIKE Dr. Campbell.

How about Smitley?

Does it pass muster just to say "Paid for by Smitley for Congress"? He doesn't have a treasurer or address listed.

On the bright side, I guess we can't see these people are professional politicians, right?

No Problem

Smitley's disclaimer is legal. The wording is correct and it has the box around it which is what is missing from Dr. Campbell's site.

The rules are different for Federal campaigns than for state and local campaigns in Ohio.
