"Nation Of Whiners" Redux

Yet another McCain advisor has stepped in it big time.

First we had the one man who, more than anyone else is responsible for the mortgage meltdown, Phil Gramm tell us that we're just a nation of whiners if we have any economic complaint.

Second, we had the so called Maverick himself completely lose track of how many homes he married in to when he became a Gigilo (remember that in the 2004 campaign the right wing used that term for John Kerry because he married a rich woman).

And now we have John Goodman, president of the National Center for Policy Analysis say the following:

"So I have a solution. And it will cost not one thin dime," Mr. Goodman said. "The next president of the United States should sign an executive order requiring the Census Bureau to cease and desist from describing any American – even illegal aliens – as uninsured. Instead, the bureau should categorize people according to the likely source of payment should they need care.

"So, there you have it. Voila! Problem solved."

Goodman is talking about the fact that people cannot be called uninsured since Hospitals are required by law to take anyone who cannot pay.

Amazing!

And why does this matter? Because Goodman is a senior advisor to John McCain for health care policy.

Hopefully this will get some play in ads over the next 2+ months.
