Rep Bill Johnson owes President Barack Obama an apology

Rep Bill Johnson from Ohio’s sixth district was recently a guest on a religious right radio show. The show was Today’s Issues broadcast on American Family Radio. During the program Rep Johnson went on a rant about President Obama after being asked the question:

”Can President Obama do any more, to be hostile to the Christian faith,”

Johnson responded:

”They’re not only hostile to the Christian faith; they’re hostile to America, period.” “[Obama” simply has a different view than any American that I know about what makes this country great. Instead of being about creating jobs and balancing the federal budget and holding Washington accountable, he’s out slamming America every time he gets an opportunity.”

Hostile to the Christian faith - how?

I think it was established during the 2008 election that Barack Obama attended a Christian Church.

What’s disgusting about Representative Johnson’s rant is that he is attacking fellow Americans and the President of the United States based on nothing. Seriously, Barack Obama is slamming America every opportunity he gets? Proof please.

And since when was it required that you had to subscribe to their sterile version of Christianity to be an American?

Contrary to their warped beliefs, their extreme version of Christianity did not build America into the power house it is today. A lot of it had to do with innovation and modernization going on in both America and Europe. Conversely, if they can ever come out of their brainwashed cloud they’d see that their sterile beliefs are leading to the downfall of America faster than can be imagined.

If you really look at it, the Republicans/Tea Party/Religious Right resemble 1984 more than ever has been seen. It’s all pure conformity, wave your flag, follow strict biblical rules and if you don’t fall in line, you’re “hostile” to America.

…Where’s the freedom?

If Bill Johnson wants to see who is hostile to Christianity

he should look in the mirror because he presents a bad face for it to the world. Ditto someone who is hostile to America. Nothing is more hostile to America than a baseless attack on its President whose jobs bills — which would reduce the deficit — have been openly attacked by Johnson and his colleagues on Congress, some of whom have admitted they don't care if their positions hurt the country as long as they make Obama's reelection less likely.

How could you be any more hostile to America than that?
