Right-wing Blogger Awkwardly Attempts to Play "Gotcha"
What's SHE doing with HIM?
An intrepid reporter for a right-wing blog, sensing a hot scoop about the corruption of journalism on the left, recently emailed syndicated Northeast Ohio-based columnist Connie Schultz demanding to know why she was spotted in numerous pictures getting cozy with Senator Sherrod Brown.

Most of us here know the answer to that. As Talking Points Memo points out, the reporter could have found the answer with a very quick Google search.
I'm just as amused at the way the reporter starts his email:
"We are doing an expose on journalists in the elite media who socialize with elected officials they are assigned to cover."
"Elite media"? Gee, does that sound like he's arrived at a preconceived conclusion? And this poor soul also appears not to know that when Schultz was at the Plain Dealer (she resigned last fall), she was not only never assigned to cover Sherrod Brown, but the paper twisted itself into knots to make sure that people knew Brown and Schultz were married, adding a pointless disclaimer to every one of her columns.
