Delving into the political drama of the 2006 gubernatorial race in Ohio, Swing State follows the family of Democrat Lee Fisher, running for Lieutenant Governor with Ted Strickland, in their gubernatorial bid against Republican J. Kenneth Blackwell.
Directed by Jason Fisher (Lee Fisher's son), the film closely documents Fisher's personal comeback from a losing gubernatorial bid in 1998. Featuring interviews with Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Bill Richardson, Madeleine Albright, Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and John Edwards, Swing State is a personal journey through the life of a very public political family.
