Sign the Petition Against GOP Vote-Suppression Legislation
Democracy for America is organizing a drive to opposed onerous voter ID laws being rushed though 19 state legislatures in the wake of the Supreme Court's ugly ruling that upheld Indiana's strict statute. Make no mistake, GOP claims of voter fraud are a total sham -- there is no evidence of any widespread voter fraud, whether by illegal immigrants or anyone else. This is all about making voting more difficult for senior citizen, low income, and newly registered Americans who are more likely to support Democrats.
The Republican brand is in disrepute and their policies are an abject failure across the board, so nefarious schemes like voter suppression have moved to the top of the GOP agenda. Help support the DFA campaign against anti-voting laws by signing the petition.
UPDATE: DFA is following up yesterday's launch and petition drive with a request for a modest $20 donation at this link -- this is damned good cause that I am supporting and I urge readers to do likewise.

Barack Obama for President
Fellow Americans, the Middle Class hard workers are feeling the pinch from the Bush Administration.
John McCain is part of that administration and if elected will continue a "Third Bush Term".
We cannot afford that.
Our economy is at its lowest, food costs are up, gas is outrageous, health care is unaffordable and John McCain says, "our economy is fundamentally strong".
What do you say?
John McCain is out-of-touch with reality.
John McCain wants to stay in Iraq while spending $10 Million dollars a month.
I say we elect Barack Obama for President, change the guard, Obama will make sure in his Presidency that health care is affordable to everyone, improve education, infrastructure, bring our troops home responsibly and deploy troops where the "real" killers of 911 are, in Afhanistan and Pakistan. Create new green jobs, boost our economy, have diplomatic talks with other nations, and give tax breaks to the Middle Class who are hurting the most.
John McCain, will give tax breaks to the "wealthiest" Americans.
John McCain is "no" maverick, he is Old Washington, and his campaign is funded by Big Oil, Special Interests and Lobbyists.
That's not Change...it's the same Old thing.
Sarah Palin at the V.P. Debate, just spewed out the rehearsed speech McCain gave her. She is just a "puppet".
Sarah Palin feels the V.P. should have more power?
She is crazy, out-of-touch, extremist zealot, elitist and the same goes for John McSame.
Barack Obama for President.
Change we Need!
GOD BLESS AMERICA
