Tim Ryan’s Sacrificial Opponent Goes Full-On Nutbag

Tim Ryan’s new district, Ohio 13, is one of four in the state designed to cram in as many Democrats as possible so theoretically Republicans can dominate the other 12 districts. Democrats have a shot in some of those GOP districts because, with 50% of the voters in the state usually voting Democratic, they just can’t fit them all in four districts. But Republicans have no shot at all in the districts represented by Ryan, Marcy Kaptur, and Marcia Fudge, and the new Columbus district that will be represented by Joyce Beatty. (Yes, I know, Joyce, nothing is guaranteed — but seriously …)

So what do the Republicans do in those districts? They let a sacrificial lamb play candidate, like Not Joe the Not Plumber who does not live in the 9th district but is running against Marcy Kaptur there. Or like Dr. Marisha Agana, who is proof that being technically or academically “smart” doesn’t mean you are “smart” in any real sense. Agana is running against Ryan in the Mahoning Valley.

Agana “tweeted” at 10:32 a.m. Sunday: “Beware of people who rose meteorically from nowhere like Obama. His agenda has been carefully planned 4 him!!!” Four minutes later, she tweeted: “History has a way of repeating itself: Stalin, Hitler, Mao Tse Tung and now Obama!!!”

She’s claiming this is about abortion, pulling out of her ass that old hoary claim that abortion is “genocide” (a technical impossibility given the definition of “genocide”) and therefore equivalent to Hitler’s killing of millions in gas chambers or the mass purges of Stalin. And you know nothing matters more in the economically devastated Youngstown-Warren area than excessive reverence for the "unborn," right? Personally, I think they'd rather hear about how the "born" can be a little better off.

She’s appended her Hitler comment to easily debunked tin-foil hat crap about Obama allegedly being this mysterious person with no history whom we don’t know anything about who is the puppet of sinister forces with some kind of hidden agenda. That’s hilarious given that Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to conceal the identities of the big donors who mastermind THEIR agenda. Ask Agana why the Koch brothers are all pissy about their big donations to GOP puppets being made public.

As if her idiotic tweets weren’t enough, this pediatrician (hide the kids!) “misspelled Obama’s first and middle names — “Barrack Hussain” rather than Barack Hussein.” So she’s either an asshole or an idiot. There are no other alternatives.

The Vindicator reported,

Mahoning County Democratic Party Chairman David Betras said, “You can’t fix crazy ... I think they should bring more of these ideas out to Mahoning Valley voters. Her campaign manager is ‘excited.’ Well, there you go.”

Indeed. Mr. Betras hit the nail on the head. “There you go,” right down the rabbit hole into Loonyland. She’ll find plenty of company there at the GOP table.
