Voter Recall?

According to this, the number of signatures needed for a voter recall of Marc Dann is 15% of the people who voted for him, or 603,413. I'm confident that the willing signers are out there, but the logistics of collecting them are prohibitive.
Darn.

"Darn" ?? You say: "Darn" ??
Certainly there are "willing signers" who are "out there."
The only problem the ODP and Strickland cronies have is that they have chased nearly all the progressive activists away from volunteering for endorsed moderate establishment Democrats similar to Marc Dann.
Do you remember the big hullaballoo regarding Dann getting the ODP endorsement instead of Chandra??
The ODP and other Strickland cronies should have thought twice before they circumvented voter's rights to democratically elect candidates during the primaries.
They especially should have thought twice before they released their thugs across the state to strong-arm state executive committee members to vote for Redfern to be chairman.
Now, the only option all of the above have is to hire progressive activists (instead of them volunteering). Why would progressive activists have ANY motivation to volunteer for a bunch of corrupt, undemocratic, mafia party thugs ??
The answer is that progressive activists are NOT motivated, even when being paid, because it's all dirty money.
Bullshit Bloggers don't help either
especially those who constantly babble about how wonderful Strickland and his ODP cronies are.
This blog has made a decisive turn toward being a blind mouthpiece for the above.
Let me be one to say that this is not a very attractive characteristic.
heheheh
You are a funny troll.
Not a great reader though, did you not see the post yesterday calling out the ODP? There are a variety of opinions stated here, if you don't like them start your own blog.
This is my thing
This would be my first choice, even though it is the hardest. He clearly has earned a recall.
Jeff, I would love to convene a meeting with activists and bloggers to brainstorm on this one. I've got some ideas on this arena and think that this might be a good test bed for building some infrastructure.
It's always bugged me how these signature campaigns start up and then die back down with all their energy lost. There needs to be some work done on making it easier to keep the network humming. Use some social networking tools to up the ante etc.
