Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern, Congressional Candidate Jane Mitakides, and Montgomery County Recorder Willis Blackshear will hold a press conference TOMORROW at 9:00 a.m. to respond to President Bush’s latest visit to Ohio. The President has decided to ignore the sagging national economy and foreclosure crisis completely on this trip, choosing instead to deliver a speech on his Iraq policy and hold a fundraiser with GOP donors on behalf of his protégé, John McCain. Following the press conference, local Democrats will hold a RALLY AGAINST A THIRD BUSH TERM at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 27th. We will meet in the parking lot next to Moonlight Security, 5717 Huberville Rd. in Riverside, just off Springfield St. across from the Air Force Museum main gate. RAIN SITE: Start: 7:00 pm

State Rep. Matt Lundy (D–Elyria) will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the North Ridgeville Public Library, 35700 Bainbridge Road. This “Lundy Listens” session will give Rep. Lundy an opportunity to listen to the questions and concerns of his constituents. He will also provide a brief progress report on his actions in the legislature over the past few months. The event is free and open to the public. | ||
