You are invited to a house party to support Progressive Majority in Ohio!

Founded in 2001, the mission of Progressive Majority is to take the fight to conservative Republicans by recruiting, training, and electing progressive champions at the state and local levels. In addition to the Progressive Majority staff, we will be joined by Representative Mike Foley, the Assistant Deputy Whip in the Ohio House of Representatives and a tireless worker for a Democratic majority in the House, and Subodh Chandra, a candidate for Attorney General in 2006, progressive champion, and a member of the Progressive Majority Farm Team.

The event will take place June 17th from 6:30-8:00 pm at 3316 Clarendon Road, Cleveland Heights. Your contribution as a Sponsor ($100), Patron ($50), or Guest ($25) will go directly to support Progressive Majority’s candidate slate made up of progressive challengers and embattled incumbents to help Take Back the Ohio House. With help from progressives such as you, Progressive Majority has been working with candidates in targeted races to help them run more effective campaigns and win their elections.

Progressive Majority has already been providing candidate services to members of our farm team and our endorsed candidates -- including individual general consulting, training, and fundraising assistance-- making sure that each and every one of them has the best possible chance to win. Our mission is solely to recruit, train and help elect candidates in 2008 and beyond who are committed to promoting a progressive agenda that includes economic justice, civil rights, health care, education, environmental protection and reproductive freedom. But we need your help to accomplish this important goal. By working together we can take back the Ohio House in 2008 and build a lasting progressive majority in Ohio politics.
