Ohio Governor Ted Strickland will be the keynote speaker at the Clinton County Democratic dinner July 17 at the Wilmington Savings Bank/Clinton County Senior Center, 717 N. Nelson Ave., Wilmington. The social hour will be from 5 to 6 p.m., with dinner being served at 6 p.m. Cost is $25 per person. Reservations should be made by July 14. Call 382-3272, 382-2835 or 584-5219. Also speaking will be Jane Mitakides, candidate for 3rd Congressional District; Bill Horne, candidate for state representaive in the 86th District; Laura Curliss and Bruce Carter, candidates for two seats on the 12th District Court of Appeals; and Teri Thobaben, candidate for Clinton County Commissioner.
